I was feeling quite un-inspired this week and I couldn't quite create how or what I wanted. I decided to try mixing up my surroundings and brought my art supplies down into the living room with me - rather than stay in my attic where the inside of my brain was apparently empty. The change of scenery worked like magic and within half an hour I had created all of the pages in this post.

The same topic of "creative burnout" was covered in this week's how she creates podcast, there are some great tips shared throughout this episode on ideas and suggestions on how to get yourself out of a creative rut, I highly recommend!

I actually wanted to paint florals when I started this piece but somehow this is what came out instead. I used my Bluesky papers journal that I am so happy to be working in, the paper is perfect and I enjoy the long landscape pages

I was definitely inspired by Torrie for this piece, I am trying to pull myself out of my striped comfort zone but it's really hard!

Angle Explosion
- oil pastel, felt tip, acrylic paint, ink

This piece was made whilst watching Sarah's tutorial for Get Messy. I love how erratic it is - basically like the inside of my brain
