January was an interesting month for me and this project. I lost my way a little and had to re-asses how I wanted to continue. I wanted more creativity and freedom within the portrait constrictions, as well as the time frame. The original aim was to complete a new portrait every week but I don't think this is achievable for me - not when I want to have every one of my portraits really mean something and really be the way I see them in my mind. I have decided to relax the challenge and post as and when I can. Therefore, January has 3x portraits rather than 4x

Introvert / Extrovert

I am both, an extroverted introvert if you will! I love to interact, see people, talk and share opinions. But this does drain me. I then need and enjoy being alone and quiet. A balance of the two is ideal ❤

This is the best visual representation I can think of for migraines. I have been getting these disabling headaches for about 6 years and every time I have one, I hope it’s my last. A pain so big I feel like my brain is pushing against my skull, numbness down my left side, blurred vision or blindness in my left eye. Sometimes they last for days on end, becoming uncomfortably normal. I hate them so much but they are inevitably a part of my life; the reason I avoid too much caffeine, chocolate, citrus fruits and alcohol. Why I obsess over getting all my sleep and try my best to keep stress at bay. Why yoga is an almost daily ritual and I wear sunglasses in even the dimmest of lights. Ah, the joy of migraines!

Everyday I drive to work. Most days it's just normal, but then there are times where the younger me cheers because i'm doing something i never felt confident enough to believe i would do and that's pretty awesome. Even if it is something as mundane as driving a car and deep down I hate it because it's so dull and responsible.
